Who’s The Expert In Mental Health?

This workshop seeks to explore the ideas of “expertise” within mental health services. It will look at the differences between a medical and social model of mental health practice and how expertise is defined within both. It will seek to emphasise the importance of the expertise of lived experience of mental health problems and how this expertise can be used to support recovery. The session will also encourage reflection on relevant expertise on a personal level.

Developing Positive Relationships

Relationships with people be it our family, our friends or people we are meeting on courses or at work can be very tricky. We can get ‘stuck’ in patterns of unhealthy or difficult relationships.
